When you are nursing they will usually get bigger. Afterward they will go back to normal it will just take time. When you nurse, the fat from your breast moves out as the milk glands enlarge. After you nurse and the milk glands go back to the size they were before it takes some time for the fat to move back like it's supposed to. They won't be the same as before you were pregnant but it's from the pregnancy not necessarily the nursing. I nursed for 11 months and mine are different but still bigger and still fairly perky. They are not not as perky as they were before but that's life. Before I was preg. i was a 36c, when i was nursing i was a 36dd and now I'm a 36d.

I agree with what G-Mommy said completely. Here are some sizes if this helps. Before getting pregnant I was a 36DD. I grew out of my bras during the pregnancy and when breastfeeding I wore a 40F (stretchy bra for breastfeeding). I probably was actually bigger but the cotton bra stretched to fit me. I would wake up with huge breasts full of milk. I just finished breastfeeding about a month ago and feel my breasts have shrunk back down to a 36DD once again. A lot of women in my family said that they sometimes lost a cup size (or half a size). My breasts weren't very firm to begin with and now need all the support they can get. I invest in great bras that keep everything where they are supposed to be. Frederick's of Hollywood have great bras that are better made, and less expensive than Victoria Secret.

I guess I don't know exactly what you mean by enlarge are you talking about during or after?
During pregnancy and while your nursing yes your breast get larger. After all they are engorged with milk. After you wean your baby usually your breasts go back to close to your pre-pregnancy size with a small variation, BUT you will have some sagging very much like a balloon that has been inflated and then the air is let out.

Obviously the breasts enlarge due to the production of milk. Most women who have breast fed for lengthy periods have actually said there breasts had come down a cup size.

That is true while you are breast feeding....but when you are completely done....what does stretched out skin usually look like when you loose weight??? You end up with saggy ones in the end.....Don't get me wrong...breast feeding is the best thing for your baby no matter what the sacrifice!!

yea it does make your breast bigger when you have milk in them that is cause when they are empty they feel smaller and saggy. When you are finished with the breastfeeding totally your boobs do get bigger like a cup or a size

Breast feeding is beneficial as far as providing important nutrients to your baby. However your breast can become saggy not necessarily bigger.

OF course your breasts will be larger when you are breastfeeding. You probably won't notice because they have been growing throughout your pregnancy.
