Why does my icon for my mail read that I have 34 messages when I don't have any out there?

Just a Yahoo error right now. Mine says 5 and I don't have any. Don't worry, they will correct it soon enough.

Probably because they are junk mail, and some programs delete junk mail. Mine does.

you are not the only one with that problem. you cannot fix it yourself. yahoo will fix it eventually
