I was taught never to trust the internet...but how can i trust someone that i met over the internet.....I found out that trying to make them change answers about themselves works..but how else?

The answer to your question is you can not tell who is ok and who is not ok on line. A predator can appear to be very nice for a very long time. You can chat on line with someone for two years, having nothing but clean chat. That person can pose themselves to even being a born again christian. If wolves can come in sheep clothing so can the devil. This is how most predators work, they blend in until it is too late. My advice to you, don't meet people from the internet. You want to make friends, make them at school, work, church and all the great places we are all familiar with. Good luck.

I wouldn't trust anyone over the internet. I am sure that most are here to have some fun and make friends, but who's to tell? Be careful and let your instincts guide you.

if they ask you for nude pics usually, or if they want to know detailed info about where you life ect. dont ever offer to meet ppl youve never talked to on the phone before, and meet in a very public place, and dont go anywere secluded. also, dont tell them where you live

ask them to show u them self on a web cam if they say they dont got one then they prolly lying to u about something, never get into a relationship on the net its just stupid. never give out our personal information

if you're not comfortable talking to someone ignore them, it's really very easy. That way oyu don't make yourself a target and you don't have to worry about it
