We have been seeing a counselor for 10 sessions now, relationship was going okay, but now things are getting out of hand. He is becoming very verbal and physical and tells me there is nothing I can do about getting him out of my home!!! Please there has to be somthing I can do to remove him other than the police. I thought that he had changed his behavior but all the anger management skills seem to have gone out of the window.
Thank you.

I am the only one on the lease! The police are across the street, I have no neighbors, so they don't hear a thing!!! I have had 3 RTO on him well over a year and a half ago, but he went to couselling w/ me and also went to anger management classes. Since his court date from the last RTO is over for criminal mischief and abuse, he has changed back into his impatient, always right, demeaning self!!! Gotta get him out before I get hurt!!! I thought he changed... what a vicious cycle!!!

You are in deep doo-doo sweety! I had the same thing happen to me! I called the cops and they told me that I willingly let him into my home and all I could do was go to court and have him evicted! OR wait until he got violent and hit me, have him locked up..get a restraining order...throw his crap out on the street and change the locks! If you have a rental, I would suggest you contact your landlord, pack your bags, and run for the hills! Thats what I did!
P.S. remember to never look back and be a lot more careful before you get involved with the next guy!

Do you have a land lord? If so you can type of a fictious letter stating that there has been compliants from the neighbors about loud arguments etc and that your guest must leave the apartment. To be honest after reading your question again , as much as you don't want to call the police anyway. There is a way for you to call them and not let him ever know that you called the police. He will think that it was a neighbor. When he is arguing and when he is not looking , pick up the phone, dial 911 and set it down with out saying a thing. Within minutes the police will come over and they will arest him if he has put his hands on you or threatend you. It sounds like you need to get him out right away. Maybe you can stay somewhere else til you get your thoughts together.

Call the Po-Po on his a**, No man has the right to put his hands on a woman, EVER!! If he won't get out on his own have the Police remove him, stand up to the coward and show him that you aren't afraid of him. If he touches you the police will readjust his mentality with time in jail, I would like to see him put his hands on bubba. Bubba beat the $#!T out of this woman beater. Also gain ties with women support groups in your area to make sure that you can feel safe again. And when he comes back don't listen to his "I've changed" story, remove from your life and move foward. Best of Luck to you.

You will need the police. Unless you are physicaslly stronger than him and can throw him out. They won't arrest him or anything as long as he didn't beat you... they will just make him leave. Now, if his mail is sent there, some states consider that residency and you would have to formally evict him and wait 90+ days. Then a Sheriff would come and get him out if he hasn't left yet... call the non-emergency number for your local police and talk to them.

He has to leave some time. Change the lock and put his things somewhere mutual where there safe and he cant get them no since in being cruel. If he has a history of being mean leave a note and tell him if he tries to contact in anyway you will have an EPO put out on him and that should deter him. If not carry out with the EPO. Your safety is more important, good luck.

If its your home and hes not on the lease, why wouldn't you want to call the cops to remove him? He doesn't seem to care if he's becoming very verbal and physical. He might end up hurting you seriously. I would warn him that you are going to call the cops if he doesn't leave, if that doesn't work then call them. Otherwise, why don't you leave then? God bless you!

If your name is not on the leace or loan on the home , I would leave when he is not there. If it is your place you will have to call the police and then put a restranting order on him. Be careful he is only going to get worse. He may hurt you.

Violence doesn't end, unfortunately it grows and gets way out of hand. You need to go to the police, and courthouse, get a protection order,,have his things packed and let him come with the police to retreive his things, and make it a point not to let him back,,if it means you move out after he's gone, get and unlisted number as well.keep record of all contact he makes and report it each time..You need to be adult enough to know that your safety is more important then that man.

Honey, if I was you and he is getting verbal and abusive, maybe you should get out. You don't want to be another statistic in the obituaries.
