It's difficult unless one has gaydar, and even then.... One is able to find another lesbian by listening carefully to what she says, like if she talks about her former relationships or something. Also, if you give her the "I'm interested, are you?" look, and she responds positively, then there you go. It doesn't mean that she's definitely a lesbian, but it's a start.
