Ok I admit, I made a typo.

My questions is: Do you prefer to drive an automatic or manual transmission and why?

manual is a lot more fun, gives you more control over the car... also it gives you more control over engine RPM which means that an experienced driver can tweak more miles per gallon out of the tank...

note that most manuals are also four-speed whereas most manuals are 5-speed. this also helps fuel efficiency and also reduces wear and tear on the engine overall.

the downside is that its kind of annoying to have a manual when sitting in traffic!

Actually - I don't "dive" -

When I dRive (a car), it's a 5 speed manual transmission -

I like to control my gear shift speed, more than an automatic allows, and historically - manual transmissions are more fuel efficient . . . and lower in maintenance costs.

Wish someone was still making a 3 cylinder engine, too - like the Chevy Sprint/Geo --- was the best darn 4 wheel vehicle mileage on the road. . .

When I was 12 years old my dad taught me how to drive on a manual transmission and I loved it. I even took my road test on a manual. It is alot more fun and not so boring. But they do seem to becoming more rare these days everything in automatic now. :-(

I like to drive a manual because it seems more like a race car than an automatic.

Automatic on the freeway and manual for joy riding.

The clutch in and out gets really obnoxious of your on the freeway. If you want speed its so fun to downshift on an empty road but automatic is easier for everything else.

Basically, it depends on what type of driving your doing.

I like manuals because you have more control over the car. Plus, all the manuals i've driven have gotten much better gas mileage than automatics.

maximum cutting-component vehicles are going in the direction of a vehicle form setup as there are maximum of variations of vehicle to come to a decision on between. the blunders is to have self belief that automatics are only place in D and and bypass and then it somewhat is a slowpersistent around in D all day on a similar time as Automatics are available a mass of varieties and which all fluctuate between one yet another many have greater controls over the field to regulate whilst it adjustments and additionally many have a mix of buttons to regulate from a city to activities to undesirable climate mode, then there are ones which could be pushed vehicle or area manually. As for greater exciting that each and every person comes all the way down to the vehicle, myself have pushed some sluggish uninteresting manuals to so somewhat exciting quickly manuals yet it somewhat is all all the way down to the vehicle,as I actual have achieved a similar component vice versa. after all i'm specific a low cc stick vehicle should not be greater exciting or less difficult topersistent than an computerized Ferrari Enzo. So if stick makes everyone sense like they are in a racing vehicle and makes them have greater exciting then good for them, myself i used to observe the motorcycle GP and end gazing that leap on my 50cc motorcycle and for a on a similar time as i replaced into interior the GP additionally. maximum makers are shifting removed from customary stick variations this could see seen on kinfolk vehicles to vehicles like the Enzo F430 Porsche 911 rapid tiptronic DB9 GT-R Challenger Mustang Merc SLR Mcalren supra mk4 f1 vehicles veryron etc. So alot dpends on which vehicle setup to which vehicle and vice versa and each will make a competent or undesirable vehicle. yet sluggish uninteresting automatics are available with only as many sluggish and uninteresting manuals. there are a number of speedy vehicle's available and are greater effective than in basic terms a place in D. Mpg subjects lower back relies upon on the vehicle as some are slightly much less nowdays or perhaps in any respect under a instruction manual version.
