gas gauge.
Are you the type that must get gas when you can still go 100 miles.
Or do just run on fumes for the last 1 mile.

I know it's bad, but I wait for the light to come on! I think I have about 20 miles or so before the car actually dies! But yeah, it makes me freak!

I usually wait until the light comes on to get gas. In my old car, I knew I could go at LEAST another 30 miles without running out. I just bought a new car so I'm a little bit no cautious, but I never "freak out". I figure if I run out of gas that's what AAA is for!

I'm a fumer. Except in the diesel Mercedes. The gauge is broken, so I have to keep it full because I don't know when it's empty and it's real bad to run a diesel out of fuel. I also have to turn this car off by getting out & opening the hood, and pushing a lever. When that stopped working, I had to have another person sit in the drivers' seat and pop it out of gear so I could shut it off. Nor do the power windows work. Or the A/C. Hey. it was my Dad's car. Can't get rid of it! My lucky lucky daughter inherits it now.

just run on fumes for the last 1 mile. Really I never put gas untill it comes very near to empty level.

My mind is out of it. I usually fill up at 1/4 of a tank. Today ran my car till it started dinging, in trying to figure out why it was making that noise I realized there were no more bars on the digital gas gage. Freaked me out...can't believe I did that. I never disregard my gas tank like that.

My car is running on fumes now and I still havn't stopped to get gas. I supose that I will have to after work, but I see no need to freak out.

I get gas once it gets below 1/4 of a tank. I don't like to wait, and I sure never wanna run out.

I have a light that comes on that says Check Gages .. then I know, I gotta get to the gas station or I'll be running out!

I like to keep my tank full as I get better gas mileage but I did FREAK OUT this morning. 1/2 tank $23.00 when some schmuck in Iraq is filling his tank at 14 cents a gallon.

Anyway, to answer your ?... I start to freak out when I get below the 1/4 mark. I REALLY start to freak out when I a hairline away from the red line (which thankfully doesn't happen often).
