Several of us at work at being told that we are going to get fired if we do not meet our productivity (time spent with clients and money earned for our agency). We are already getting written up for not meeting productivity standards, as it was raised this month. We are also not being told that we are improving or doing a good job if we have shown improvement, we are simply being told that we are not doing good enough. HELP!!!

I don't know about Ohio, but the one reason for definitely not receiving unemployment is being fired for insubordination.

In your case, it's a matter of not performing up to their standard, which is perfectly legit. They've done the proper thing by writing you up (warning you about this), giving you opportunity to improve. Sounds like they don't see improvement, which would be grounds for termination.

As for collection unemployment, you could easily wait till they fire you, apply for it, and see what they say. Worst case is that they say no.

It sounds like they just want to get rid of people, not actually explain what the problem is...
Yes, if you've worked 3 months or met the income requirements, you can collect unemployment from them. They're treating you unfairly, and that will work to your advantage..
If you quit, you can't collect...

being fired usually allows you to collect unemployment, but you have to meet their requirements. Go to the unemployment office and seek more information.
