Broke up with ex last week. Went to dr for annual pap on also last week. I got a pregnancy text done and it was negative. My period is late and my nipples and breast are killing me. Unsure if the test was wrong and I am pregnant. Any advise? Ex is due to go back to home state today and I do not know if I should tell him or not.

ok...it could be stress, but it could be pregnancy as well. All pregnancy tests do is test your hormone level, but some pregnancies have a very low hormone level to start with.
I had a friend who went through the first three months of her pregnancy with her son reading negative on every pregnancy test taken. Now she has a five year old.
I would go ahead and let your ex know that their is a possibility and see if you can at least get a contact number for when you find out.

Take another to be completely sure.
If it still says negative then you are probably not pregnant.
You may be stressed out about the whole thing. YOur body acts the same way before your period as it does when you are pregnant at first. Sore breast, change in appetite, sleeping more or less ( more when you are pregnant) peeing more.
Stress can delay your period and that's probably what it is. The funny thing is that when you think you are pregnant and you take a test that says negative, you usually come on your period. Makes you feel like you wasted your money!!!!

I dont think you would be, if the test said no... But maybe you can wait a few more days or a week or so and take another. Be honest with your ex, he is responsible too....

you should so then when it is born, you dont have to call him and fling it at him.....and he can pay child support
