About Patti Boyd Harrison, George Harrison's wife. Clapton was George's best friend, but he fell in love with Patti when George was gone all the time. George Harrison treated her like crap anyway. He was a jerk! Eric Clapton ended up with Patti in the 70's. They did however get divorced. Life on the road just kills relationships! Read this in a bio.
