In most places it is drinking tea & football (soccer if you're American).

The only variations are:
Most of Yorkshire - Alcohlism and wife beating
Liverpool - Ram-raiding and happy slapping
Essex - Dogging
Wigan - Wife swapping & pie eating
Manchester - Buggery

Tennis is popular in the summer too.

Probably sex, like everywhere else. Or cricket.. a game I am trying in vain to understand! It's definitely not a sissy game, I've concluded.. the fielders apparently catch a hard ball without a glove.
