It's not really a dumb lyric! You know how you can always find an abundance of the things you do not need when you are looking for something in particular! What's ironic was that nothing in the song was really ironic! More like coincidences!

Hey, I like Ironic... that's not dumb lyrics... if it was dumb, then why was the song a hit? It's just Alanis's way of expressing herself... songs are meant to be sung not to be scrutinized... just my two cents... ;o)

it is possible you know....here at work we have about 4 of those huge packages of forks (which probably adds up to about that many) and we have no @#$% spoons... isn't it ironic...don't you think?
