i think its a positive thing to knock racist people back it does show that today in society people are becoming more tolerant because we all live in a multi- cultural society. we are all bound to know someone of a different religion, from a different country and has a different way of life from what we have and i personally benefit from that because it allows me to stop judging people all the time for being different. I personally think that racism is an ugly thing, anyone who is racist really needs to wake up and look around them! So i agree with you 100% without a doubt.

I think there are less racists around now.
Seeing as i work with Irish, Polish, Lithuanians, Ukranians, English etc, they are all the same. They are all the same people, and are no different. Maybe they come from a different country but it does not make a difference. Imagine when we go on holiday to maybe Spain, and someone in Spain is calling you names, and you knew what they meant.. How would you feel?? Probably the same as what they would feel like. I am not racist in any way, and i dont see why some other people are.

Not sure that society is getting better, but thanks to the Politically Correct fascist out there opinions deemed to be unsavoury are simply forced under ground. Don't kid yourselves that we are any better now than we were in the 60's and 70's. People are simply more careful about what they say these days that all, but the main issues of intergration, educational attainment and poverty for ethnic minorities in most western countries persist. I don't think is wholly down to racism either and I think cultural and religious differences are contributing factors, but can you say that? No, because you get called racist! Its all smoke and mirrors with a great big dose of hipocracy thrown in for good measure!

It could be so,or just that people know it is not as readily accepted as it once was-so they would not dare make a racist comment in public. What they say at home may be a different thing. Also racism has grown in other areas its not just black and white anymore!

It suprised me. I am starting to believe that not all white folk think the same about racism.

If someone has racist views they are in their own right to express them its called freedom of speech. You don't have to acknowledge them if you don't want to.
