Just start up your computer and run a full scan. Hopefully you've got a really good comprehensive Virus program like Kaspersky 6 or something. If not its $50 at kaspersky.com and soooo worth it!

That sounds like a Hijacker virus. It's usually packaged with spyware. You need to download Spybot Search & Destroy from www.download.com. Another good program is Adware from the same site. Run these two programs and see what happens.

Sounds like a browser hijacker, not a virus
Run both Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and Skybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/) to remove any spyware. Run both as one may caught something the other missing. Then go to microsoft.com and download Defender to protect against future infections.
