LimeWire is a great way to download your hard to find songs....it is not a rip off....pay a minimal fee and your downloads will be fast as well....

Free direct downloads are hard to find if you're looking for obscure or old songs. Try using a P2P program (like a bittorrent client) to download whole albums at once. Some of them allow you to select a specific track.
However, if you're willing to sign up for a service like iTunes or Rhapsody, it shouldn't be too hard to find that song.
