Sorry bro, I have to correct you. The world does not hate the United States of America. I have traveled the world and the ordinary people love America and desire to live here. The images and slander that you see on TV and read about are the biased unbalanced opinions of the Liberal media machine. Most of these so called protests involve 20-50 people making a whoopla and the news camera focuses on only those clowns as if they speak for the whole city/country. Hell, I could get 20 crackheads to run around in circles and declare the sky is falling. If you tell a lie long enough people will actually believe it. Have you ever heard anything about Americans trying to immigrate to other countries. Except maybe Michael Jackson or some Liberal celebrity who has made a fortune in the United States but cant stand the way the air stinks in the United States. And if you hate America take your monkey-a to whatever country you love and let me live in peace.

The reason why people around the world hate America is because of our Cowboy Diplomacy practices. We select our friends when it benefits the dollar interest of the few wealthy individuals in our own country. I agree with you--jealousy. I think lots of them tell themselves they could have it as good as we do, if they had as many resources as we have. Truth is, we didn't have all that much when we started out, but we're hard workers, and ingenious, and diligent, and good salesmen. Not our fault they bought all that stuff we invented.
Then there's the funky political hurrah, which few understand is mostly reflective of our diverse opinions, as wielded by a parcel of greedy 'pulbic servants' whose primary aim is to get elected and re-elected, and to fluff their bank accounts at our expense.
Plus, there's all those jerkwad liberals crackpots from the fifties and sixties that we 'buried' in academia...who now have tenure and have been poisoning our children's minds against their own country for fifty years. Not so much because it's wrong or pushy, but because it isn't going the way they thought it should.

jealousy? probably not... the people that are jealous MOVE here and partake.
People hate america because:
1) we support israel, which was forcefully created and placed a jewish country on formerly arabic turf.
2) we provoke and manipulate foreign countries by arms deals, monetary offerings, and political maneuvering... we support dictators that like us and remove democracies that want nothing to do with us. were inconsistent in our foreign policies.
