No that doesn't mean that. If he asks after awhile just say I'm not totally into you, we just need more time. If this is first try to get a girlfriend he might be hurt, but if it's his like 10th then it wont be bad at all.

P.S. Your not a bad person if you reject them, or lie like you did.

I'm sure you thought you were trying to be nice, but it is no real kindness to make him believe he has a chance when he really doesn't. When he eventually finds out the truth, it will hurt him more than if you had just been honest with him in the beginning. He'll feel played and deceived as well as rejected.

It's not really mean, but, since you're not interested in him, it's unfair to give a guy even a sliver of hope. Who's to say he won't try again if he finds out you're unattached. Mybe next time that tye of situation comes up you could just try one of the old lethim down easy standbys, like, "hey, you're a nice guy, but I'm not interested in having that kind of relationship with you."

It's not necessarily mean, but it's definitely not being honest. It would be far more kind to just tell him thanks but no thanks. Don't string him along and let him think he has a chance down the line...that is somewhat cruel. Tell him you aren't interested...that way he'll get over it and get on with his life, and then so can you, with a clear conscience.

Hope this helped.

You're crackin me up. If you don't like the guy. Don't go out with him. Don't make up stuff do be "nice".......in the long run you're behaving like an idiot and insulting the guy who asked you out. Just be honest And why is this question in "Toys"? kinky

It is more mean to lead a guy on who then thinks he has a chance then to just tell him upfront that you don't want to go out with him.

He probably has already moved on. Why did you lie in the first place

i wouldnt worry about it too much, it's better than saying "sure i'd love to go out with you" and not really mean it.... you should always be honest in dating/relationship issues... it wasnt mean at all
