Florida is a nice state to live in, although the humidity is almost to much to bear sometimes in the summer(but that's what AC is for) the winter months are comfortable. i live in the Tampa bay area, its a pretty cool place, the beaches are nice, great nightlife(i recommend checking out ybor city) and plenty of other things to do.

I have lived in Orlando for 32 years. I have a lot of friends there and it's close to Daytona Beach, but now I live in Fort Myers. The beach is 20 minutes away and it's a tropical paradise.... If you don't mind an occasional hurricane.

I know of a guy that lives in Miami... he has a job as a tail gunner on a bread truck.

Depends on what kind of person you are. They having a saying that in Florida, "South is North and North is South" meaning that yankees migrate to southern florida, therefore Miami and other southern areas are more diverse and therefore louder, busier, and more crime-ridden than the "southern" type areas in the northern part of the state.

My husband & I just moved to the Ft. Lauderdale area, and we are LOVING IT! Nice and warm, but a bit humid. The rains have been great, the economy seems to be cooking, great choices in restaurants & entertainment, and most of the people have been pretty nice.
