for example...if i have short hair right now and in my family my moms side has REALLY LONG hair.....can my hair grow like later when i grow up? (im a teenager right now)....or is it gonna stay the same forever?

my hair is like A LITTLE above the start of my shoulders so it aint exactly 2222222 SHORT since i cut it like a year nd a half ago

Of course your hair will grow at a steady normal rate and can become long over time. Unless you meant that your hair will only grow so long and then seem to stop or slow down. If this is so it is probably genetic and will not change when you are older.

Your hair grows ALL THE TIME, the only reason for it to be short is if you get it cut. If you don't have a haircut for a year, and your hair is not visibly longer- you might have a problem, in this case your hair is unlikely to ever grow.
