Actually a tip to save you a big plumbing bill is this:

Get a wet/dry vacuum (a shop vac that can suck up water - see if you have any friends who might have one)....and use that to suck the tube of toothpaste back out. It should work (I looked it up after a toilet roll dispenser got flushed down the toilet and I was able to do that).

the tooth paste bottle is stuck in the master trap of the toilet. u can go to your local hardware store and purchase a toilet augar and run it through the toilet.( this will either push the tube out of the toilet into the main drain line or it will hook the tube and u can pull it out.) that will be the cheapest and easiest way to do it.or u can puull the toilet up from the floor and remove the tube from the hole at the bottom of the toilet by hand.then reset the toilet. or u can call a plumber to do one of the 2 for you... good luck

Try a snake (metal coil) to push it past the trap. If that does not work, you need a plumber.

you can purchase a "snake" (or even rent one at your local rental place)--it's basically a large wire and you unwind it thru the toilet pipe, it'll either bring back the tube, or completely push it through.

Good luck with that, we had the same problem with a Happy Meal toy car!

Try a wire hanger.Take it apart and try to use it like a snake. If you can't reach it your gonna have to call someone. That's the first thing he's gonna try anyway.Good Luck,Hope it comes out.

It may have gone through to the sewer and might not be a problem, if not and the toilet backs up you will have to get a "snake" to remove it.

If your toilet is flushing OK I would not worry about it...otherwise I hope you or your hubby is handy...or call a plumber.
