Aside from some of the population being blind - we are not de-evolving.

We are no longer of nature - and haven't been for 8,000 years if not longer.

Where our growth has been occurring since we stepped out of nature is in the brain and mind - thought and belief. Where that is playing out is in our societies. We are seemly always in-between paradigms. Some are ahead, and some are behind. The scary part is that most of our paradigms deemphasize our lives on earth - they emphasize eternity and the afterlife. That's why many feel hopeless and willing to kill/die in this world to bring about the next or to ensure their place in eternity. We are really in a no win situation. We are beyond evolution now; we are fighting for the collective.

How and if we survive and prosper will depend on each individuals ability to self govern and disengage dependence on authority figures such as religion and government.

It isn't possible to de-evolve, but to evolve into something else. We would have no way of knowing this, because evolution is a process that takes so long we couldn't see it in our lifetime. Humans as we are now have been around for over a hundred thousand years, and our roots trace back several million.

nicely I see the two aspects of that. i'm human first and additionally pleased with my subculture and historic past 2nd. If we can quit emphasizing the modifications lots we'd desire to continuously on no account pass lower back to minorities feeling compelled to faux they are actually not who they are. we'd desire to continuously look on the variety in a valuable way that makes the human race greater thrilling!

American Presidents? Absolutely. From Jefferson and Lincoln, awesome men, to presidents who can't spell and can't speak a sentence without mangling it? The IQs are supposedly going up, then why are these higher I.Q. people electing stupider presidents? You have a point!

6 fingers? primate have 5. that guy's an idiot.
the law of natural selection isn't stopped. we are not at, what in evolutionary terms is called a "terminal branch" of evolving.

We are so nearsighted as humans, we cant see that it takes MILLIONS of years to adapt and mutate, etc. and we will not see any noticeable change in our lifetime.

Things look bad now, but nature will prevail... but I do see your point, JUST LOOK AT OUR PRESIDENT! lol
