In Florida, you have no special rights unless you have an employment contract that specifies otherwise.

Most jobs have something you sign saying it's an at will position. That means they can fire you or you can leave at any time without any reason. So you really don't have any rights to your job.
But if you are doing a good job there, they may want to keep you and not trip over the fact that you are simply looking. Looking doesn't always mean you find. Just keep looking and act as if they don't know. However, if you are using their time and computer to do the search, you may find yourself out of a job sooner rather than later.
