It's really difficult, but it could. It depends on the people and their devotion. It depends on your long term outlook with this person. Values will make or break it too. For example, theres a place you just will not move away from, or a place you really hate that you'd never want to be, or a job you would never want to quit. There are lots of factors!

They actually have a higher success rate than other relationships. The fact that you are both commited to eachother will be proven or disproven. The reality is this.

You obviously cannot stay in a long distance relationship forever which means that at some point you either hae to break it off or one of you has to move. As long as one of you is willing to at some point move than it can work.

It depends on both parties, but normally it works on older generation and never and if it does very rarely with younger generation. I will say because the older generation are more understanding of the situation why they have to live apart for quite a while, they are also less impulsive to do things that may hurt the other party compared to the younger set who are not willing to compromise and who can be selfish most of the times. However it also depends on the outlook of both parties, their most honest feeling to each other, their commitment to the relationship and most of all their respect towards each other.

Yes it can, lift is to short to stay in one place forever. But if each of you are in a different country be sure to study all of the culture of the land. It may sound like peaches and cream, but remember cream clabbers. Different cultures is a hard depressing situation when you give up all you are use to, then find out you have to change your whole and still no one will accept you in society. Always think HARD about any relationship.
