Hi, hotty,

My mother tongue is Spanish and I had the same problem trying to learn English.

By a coincidence, three of my sisters went to Bruno, Saskatoon
in Canada to learn English. I didn´t have the same opportunity so I learned some English by myself. I got an audio-tape English course, published by Salvat and the BBC. It has been the main source of my learning. So you might start by looking of a similar course to learn Spanish.

As far as I know, there are three stages to learn a language and the first one is:

*Do a lot of exercises of easy auditive-diction drills until you are able to recognize the Spanish sounds by listening and to reproduce them not only in an isolated way, but by combining them with the correct accent and entonation.
At first, grammar is limited only to essential, but each grammar principle must be followed by a lot of examples which are learned by heart. These examples are the basis for mechanical drills.
Drills take a statement as a basic model and practice some gramatical variations and sustitutions until you can react immidiatly as you hear the statement.
*Try to learn ordinary vocabulary related to family, home, school, garden, job, travel, the sea etc. Just as a child would.
Try to eliminate strange, literary or old words.
*Get a book in Spanish that reflects and ilustrates the culture of a spanish-speaking country so that you can "feel" the language. Even better if your able to travel to that country.

I´ll be ready to give you the second stage if you find this helpful.

sincererly yours,

Mario.

Any person preparing on traveling to a Spanish-speaking nation sometime in the subsequent months or so have to make a course so that can make a dissent conversation in Spanish or just to understand when men and women talk to them due to the fact by the time your journey rolls all around you should be conversationally fluent or quite shut to it with the support

Seek Summer employment as a roofer, landscaper, mason or painter and you will have no choice but to learn, if you want to communicate with your coworkers. It's a joke. You should really buy the CD's that allow you to learn at your own pace at home.

they have cds you can listen to a repeat what they say, but they work better if you have spanish knowledge already. nothing can replace a real class though, try a community college, they have cheaper classes you can take
