I don't know about "all" wifes, but I think if a woman is mature and loves and trusts her husband, it is only healthy to "be okay" with him having that time with his buddies, regardless of the locations. To ease any hard feelings, the husband could offer to whisk his wife away to one of those fun locations on a non-golfing weekend for some fun in the sun together!

You certainly know your golf resorts! I've been to all of them and would crawl over broken beer bottles to get back to HH. Not so much for Myrtle Beach though. And CaffeineJunkie doesn't know what he's talking about - there are some fabulous courses in Vegas. The cocktails and other shinanigans are for when it's too dark for golf.
I highly recommend the Monterrey Peninsula about 75 miles south of San Jose. Play Rancho Canada (2 courses) and Poor Man's Pebble Beach in Pacific Grove (Pacific Grove Golf Links - the back 9 is amazing) and then have a burger at Clint's Mission Ranch in Carmel.

Well first you have to ask yourself if you would resent your wife and buddy's wives tagging along with you all to Las Vegas, Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach... That should help you formulate an answer to your question...

What ?? why?? do those places have nude beaches and stuff?
I dont think she will have any problem with your buddies time unless she doesnt trust you or you do that very often and dont spend time with her
But if you want to go every other weekend that it might be a problem! She might want to spend time with her husband /her family. You are a husband first and than a friend to others remember that!

It totally depends on the situation....if we dont have the money to go and do things like that together or if I wanted to go somewhere but couldnt because of finances, I dont think it'd be hardly fair if he went.
My husband recently went fishing with my dad and about 13 other men...for almost a week. They had a blast...and I got to hang out with mom and my aunt and we ran around and did things...it was good!

Sometimes. It depends on how often the husband is gone and how good a husband he is when he is at home. A great husband is less likely to have a resentful wife.

She can either resent the husband or take weekend trips to. And without him.

My experience is no, they don't. However, be sure to bring a nice gift back for your wife, and when she ultimately asks about being allowed to have a "girl's weekend" away somewhere with her friends, don't balk at the idea!

I know some women do, but I can't imagine why. Unless he is totally untrustworthy - if that's the case, they have more problems than golf.
I think it's very important for husbands and wives to take time with their friends. I don't begrudge my hubby time with his friends and he encourages me to spend time with mine.

Who the hell golfs in Vegas?
You're wife isnt dumb, if you tell her you're going to go golfing in Vegas for the weekend, she knows you're going there to drink cocktails and get your knob polished by some cheap skank
