If you are planning to sell your products in your website, you don't need separate paperwork to do it. It will all be the business activities of the business you will register.
Given that you are starting a clothing line, remember that you can have a different company name (say STACY CLOTHING BUSINESS) and different brand names for your clothing line (e.g. STACY LUXE WEAR). You will register your company name with your county, but you will need to check the brand names you are planning to use with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). You don't want to be sued for using a brand name that another company is already using. You can do your own search using the USPTO Trademark Electronic Search System(Tess) http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=tess&state=8ecsul.1.1 or you can hire a lawyer to help you do the search. Lawyers will typically cost $850 upwards to do trademark searches plus filing fees -- and can be more depending on where you live. If you do this yourself (and you can do it yourself), the fees range from $325 to $375 depending on whether you will submit a paper application or electronic application http://www.uspto.gov/web/trademarks/notices/tmfeechange.htm
I suggest you read the following books to help you learn more about the business:
- The Official Step-by-Step Guide to Starting a Clothing Line by Jay Arrington, Marc D. Baldwin
- The Business of Fashion: Designing, Manufacturing, and Marketing by Leslie Davis Burns
- Apparel Product Development (2nd Edition) by Maurice J. Johnson
- The Fashion Designer Survival Guide: An Insider's Look at Starting and Running Your Own Fashion Business by Mary Gehlhar
- Fashion for Profit (Revised Edition with Retail Chapter) by Frances Harder
- Fashion: From Concept to Consumer (8th Edition) by Gini Stephens Frings

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.
According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

Compared to offline businesses, the investment required to start an online business is minimal. A popular way of earning money on the internet is by providing information and services. This can be monetised by advertising or charging a subscription. You can also make money online by selling products on auction websites like eBay or through your own website.
