So what happened to the child care credit supposed to start July in Canada?

I thought we were supposed to start getting our payments from the child care credit, $1200 a year per child under 6, what's going on with that?

I have no children under 6, so I don't get it. I'm not sure, but I think the first payments might actually start in August (it is 100 dollars a month ). I do know that your child has to be already registered with the government ( if you receive a child tax benefit already than you should be good, as it is just added to your existing benefit that you are getting). If not, you need to fill out a form.
