Out of everybody listed before I'm making my post, only Northstar (of Alpha Flight) and the Ambigously Gay Duo from Saturday Night Life ARE DEFINITELY GAY.

Heh, Bloom County had a good one on this a while back. All the characters were supposed to be male, and the Supreme Court ruled there needed to be a female.
They were searching for a female, when Spuds McKenzie (remember him, er, her) pointed out they already had one.
They all started checking themselves to see what they were, but none of them were drawn anatomically correct.
The female turned out to be Rosebud, the Basselope.
