The Second Amendment to The Constitution of the United States is what protects the rest of the Constitution.

Between 60 and 200 million people were "eliminated" in the 20th Century following the enactment of gun laws. Germany, Russia, Soviet Union, Cambodia, Uganda, etc. The left does not tolerate dissent or political enemies. They had no chance to protect themselves.

Support the 2nd Amendment, keep your guns, preserve your rights, preserve your country and your way of life.

The UN is a leftist organization which would love to tax the USA and render our laws null and void. The UN really has no place in today's world, they are impotent and Viagra will not remedy the problem. U & N are the central letters in commUNist.

Every case concerning the 2nd Amendment that has come before the US Supreme Court has upheld the 2nd Amendment and the right of US citizens to privately own guns/weapons. Have you ever wondered why the issue never makes it to the Supreme Court nowadays?

The same reason why the world is afraid of the US all the way around. Many in this country right now try to pretend it is the Bush administration that runs the country, but that is because they keep losing elections. The people of this country run this country and always have and that scares the elitists of the world who are the heads of the majority of the other nations of the world. They see their people as idiots that aren't smart enough to rule themselves and we throw a wrench in those ideas.

For those who don't think the UN cares about the 2nd amendment or that the 2nd amendment and the UN are two seperate things that have nothing to do with each other, should pay attention to the fact that the UN is currently working on a treaty among nations that bans the trade of small arms and missles.

Take a look at the perversion of the constitution over the years by our Congress and Presidents and you will notice that they have made a treaty to be not subject to the laws of our land and supercede anything we have on law and that includes our bill of rights. They have allowed treaties to come to be higher than our rights. Don't think for a minute that something like this could not infiltrate our rights and strip them from us.

Our rights are based on what we the people of this USA want, not what we the people of the US, PLUS the elitist rulers of other countries want.

A good example is to look out for people like Dr. Watson a few posts above. He calls the defence of our Constitution a "far right agenda." What?!? Take a look that while he accuses a group of people of doing something, he does the same thing in his own post.

Since the UN is an international organization, it has no reason to care about the constitution of any one individual country, never mind one amendment to it.
What scares ME about the 2nd amendment--or, rather, about the way it is being applied--is that the gun nuts aren't even reading it correctly. You just ignore that first part about the well-regulated militia, don't you? Plus the fact that it doesn't exactly guarantee everyone the right to have a personal arsenal.

The UN is not afraid of our second Amendment. Whether they pay attention to it our not is no concern of mine since it isn't going anywhere. The UN certainly isn't a credible enough organization that I would worry about their thoughts. What they are focusing on are small arms trafficking throughout the world. It doesn't affect the US or our 2ND amendment at all.

I don't think the UN gives a damn about the second amendment. However, with someone like Bush in charge, they are a little afraid of the fact that the US is the only country in the world that has not agreed to not be the first to use nuclear weapons in battle.

It's really fun to watch you puppets work. One of you posts a so-called 'question' that is actually a propaganda ploy to champion your far right agenda while trying to disguise it as a legitimate question.

Then instantly you have two or three fellow puppets agree with your post, no matter how outlandish or biased or untrue. These same fellow puppets follow each other around taking turns asking the question and answering it.

They never leave full, details explanations with provable facts. They just up in their stock , "Yeps, all Libs are Cowards, all Libs are..." answers.

My question to you puppets is this: What price have you put on your soul, you moral fiber? Is it worth the few dollars you're being paid?

They say they're trying to limit the deaths of civilians by curtailing the proliferation of "small arms" but everywhere that's been tried, it contributed to more deaths of civilians at the hand of their own government. What they won't say is that in order to subjugate a people, you first have to disarm them. That is what the UN fears...power that rests in the hands of the individual, not some government entity.

The UN is filled with anti-democratic tyrants. Tyrants fear an armed populace that can fight back against them. As long as we remain armed the UN will have trouble wresting national independence from us.

UN, does someone actually think it gets anything done? The current crisis in Lebanon is proof enough of that.
