i have a good laptop and i can put more an more games on and it wont effect the sims 2 until i download the sims 2 open for business then it lags or freezes for a few seconds is there a way to have the game run faster????Help please. oh and what expansion should i get next. i already have ofb?

My game used to run pretty slowly until I cleaned up my downloads folder. Do you have any downloads for the sims 2 (downloads that you got online) for additional objects/sims/hair/etc. If you do, then you probably need to clean up the folder. I use Sims2Pack Clean Installer, it has functions that allow you to clean up that folder (you can delete duplicates, get rid of empty files, delete stuff you no longer want). Other than that, just keep your computer defragged and get rid of stuff on the computer that you don't use anymore.

If you downloaded it, odds are it's a bad crack. Go buy the game or try and find another version... The support you'd need to fix the problem as it exists won't be available on a pirated copy. For an expansion, I recommend University.
