You can have some spotting or light bleeding but not your menstrual period. Some women, when they get some spotting, they think it's their period while pregnant, but it's really not a menstruation.

Yes it is. When I found out I was pregnant with My son. I had been pregnant for 3 months. I had had a period, so I didn't think to even be tested to see if I was pregnant, until My periods stopped. By that time I was three months.

Yes. I've heard many stories of women who were pregnant and didn't realize because they continued their normal cycles. One woman suddenly had a baby one day and NEVER knew the whole time that she was pregnant. I believe she was on a talk show and said she was in an elevator and had a pain or something and then sudden the baby was on it's way out through her pant leg (???) or something wild like that. I'm sure if you search the internet you will find stories of woman who definitely keep having periods during pregnancy.

It is possible to have some breakthrough bleeding or spotting. Consult your doctor just in case. Good Luck!
(By the way, why are MEN trying to give their advice? Have they ever had a period or been pregnant? Beside, both of them answered wrong. Don't listen to those crazy men.)

yes it is possible. There may be something wrong if you are bleeding while pregnant but it has happned. See a doctor if you are concerned.
From what I understand the reason you may still get your period early in pregnancy is that although your progesterone is rising, it hasn't risen enough to completely suppress your period.

You shouldn't have your period full blown during pregnancy but you could spot a little during the beginning. If it is a lot I would really go in and have it checked out it could be something more serious depending on how far a long you are it could be really bad news. Either way if your in the first trimester go have it checked it could be just your body, if your in your 2nd or 3rd please go in and get it looked at it could be placenta previa. I had a misscarriage at 11 weeks and I only spotted a little but still went in cause I knew my body and this wasn't normal for me during pregnancy. If it is your first pregnancy you really should talk with your dr just to be safe it could be nothing or it could be bad I would rather be safe and know than wonder.

It is possible to have some light spotting during pregnancy...but its never like a period. Any bleeding during pregnancy that is like a period is very dangerous and usually means a miscarriage has occured.

Yes you can have a light period at the regular time you would usually have your normal period. However if it is unusual bleeding you should see your doctor just to put your mind at rest.
These people saying it is 'Impossible' are misinformed!

I know that you CAN have a period in the first months of a pregnancy. It happened to me last month (I am 4 mo. pregnant now) the doctor explained to me that "sometimes" the uterus does not "know" it is occupied by a baby because of it's tiny size. She also explained that by the 3rd month of pregnancy the size of the fetus will have grown enough for it to take up so much space in the uterus that your body will "know" and register the fact that the uterus is now occupied.
