Can't help being concerned when younger posters give out their E-Mails for pen pals etc!. There are a lot of people around that are just waiting for this info.
Don't want to sound on a "Downer" But you hear about people "Grooming" Young kids.

Maybe Yahoo should take it on and block the use of E-Mail addresses?
I know we have choices but sometimes we have responsibility too!

Yep..It totally scares me. Kids can be way too trusting and naive and can get into a LOT of trouble. There are some real sickos out there.
Kids...if you're reading...PLEASE be careful. I know it's fun to meet new friends, but you could get hurt.

Not just you. AS I was married to a pediphile (unknown to me until recently,) I know how he stalked children, and it's sickening. We as parents, should be able to do what we want to people who are convicted of this crime. That way, they'd never reoffend. Even murderers can be productive members of society, but they'll ALWAYS be pediphiles, there's NO cure for them, except death or castration

I agree.
Everytime I see someone posting their address it makes me angry. Does no-one read the papers or listen to the news anymore? Do they not know what kind of loony tunes are out there?

kids doesn't know the dangers and what more they love to take risks. that's one characterirtic of being young. they don't care what happen to them. that's why proper guidance from parents is needed. especially at this stage.of their lives.

No, it's not just you, more people should be concerned about where their young children are and what they are doing. I applaud you.

yeah, I have already realized the stupidity in today's youth but I am sure we did "stupid" things when we were young not understanding the consequences of our seemingly harmless actions
hell, I am still stupid!
