What is happening in Lebanon is the fruit of the Lebanese people selling their country to Syria for 15 years. Lebanese people DO NOT love their country as they claim they do. If they did.. they wouldn't have accepted the cooperation with the Syrian occupation for 15 years which strengthened Hezbollah by time to the level of what they are now. Anyway Hezbollah is Iranian by the background and doesn't care much if the country is destroyed or not, actually the destruction of Lebanon is of the benefit of Syria. IF Hezbollah was really Lebanese.. they wouldn't have played with fire the way they did and dragged back their country 20 years backwards.
This is really sad how other nations are fighting on this little tiny land.. the real fight is between (Iran, Syria & Israel) . I only blame the lebanese people and their blindness for supporting any party fighting on it's land.
Lebanese just like being rapped all the time, they never learn lessons from history !

Hizbollah is attacking Israel, so Israel has the right to attack Lebanon. Lebanon cannot control Hizbolah, and has the right to defend itself from invasion. This is a fairly simple recipe for war, since both sides have every right to fight.
I really hope some sort of diplomacy pans out, but without negotiations with Hizbolah and Lebanon nothing will happen but war. If militias hope for the complete anhiliation of Israel, they must be prepared to pay 10 to 1 or more (Maybe 100 or 1000 to 1) for Israeli dead. It may even be impossible for them to succeed.
As with any indiviual or government the primary responsibily of the nations involved is to survive and do so to the greatest extend possible. The moment Israel feels truly threatened things will become much worse. Right now it is policing more than being actively at war. Active war would mean attempting to totally anhillate infrastructure and whatnot of its enemies and control of land. Not possible, Israel's army broken?
Well, Israel is a strong democracy with many firearms and weapons. It is unlikely that any sort of combat against it could be anything but near impossible without basic genocide of Israelis. Basically, it would require the destruction of each individual with a firearm or other ordinance, since at very least, Israelis believe their government should stand, as in most "mature" democracies. They cannot be defeated like an authoritrian government or weak demoncracy (where another large minority or majority believes it has right to act outside the rules). Eventually "subduing" the population will just create an atmosphere where there is constant skirmish, like palestine and Israel. If Palestine could gain its sovereignty and mature as a democracy, it would likely be very very good for the situation.

Where are the pictures of the Israeli dead that prompted this action. Israel is only responding to Hesbollaah terrorism and rockets being lobbed into Israel. I don't see the pictures of the 2 little boys laying in their front yard in Nazareth, or the dead soldiers in their vehicle jusrt inside the Israeli border whose killing started the bombings. If you only show one side of the war, its bound to be biased. Hesbollah has been killing Israeli people for decades, but you aren't protesting that! No, you call those murderers Martyrs because they walk into a resturant or school or hospital and blow themselves and dozens of others up. Its too bad that Lebanon is being bombed, but Its too bad Lebanon lets terrorists hide behind the skirts of its women and little girls.

I think that what's going on in the entire Middle East is awful. But, I also feel that the fanatics in Lebanon need to be dealt with. It's too bad that the fanatics have to use websites like the one you have as a link to move their propaganda along.

I think the terrorists are cowards. Don't they hide behind innocents. Stand up and be counted for what you believe.
