hey i want to become a singer what should i do first

Type "how to start being a singer" or something like that in the box of the search site as Yahoo, Google, etc. and you'll get what you want more than you need!

First if you can afford it hire a vocal teacher.
If you can't you can find basic lessons on-line
If you do hire a teacher make sure they will teach the style you are wanting to sing.
The two most important things you need to work on when singing is;
1. Breath (work on strengthening your diaphragm)
2. Keeping your tongue down when you sing.

Find a good vocal coach, work on some songs and try to get opportunities to perform anywhere. If you are good, someone will sign you. Good luck!
