Who is really responsible for 9/11?

Before I am stoned as some nut conspiracy theorist, I challenge you to research and think for yourself. I have read the 9/11 commission report, (http://www.9-11commission.gov/report/911Report.pdf) I have done my research. Ask yourself a few questions
Who profited from 9/11? (Think about this next time you are at the pump putting gas in your SUV)
Why was only one person ever put on trial?
Why did WTC#7 fall?
Why did only three steel reinforced buildings in history, built to withstand a direct hit from an aircraft, collaspe from a fire, and after less then an hour?
How can a 747 hit the pentagon and leave no or little wreakage and only a small hole in the side of the building?
Why were all four planes flying at less than 50% passenger capicity for a transcontinental flight where the vast majority of other trans flights that day were near 90% and over?
How did the FBI know the identity of the "hijackers" only hours after the attacks, and why are some still alive and well?

For those who say Clinton and pre-Bush, you may be interested to know that the Bush family has long standing relations with the Bin Ladens of Saudi Arabia and that during the reconstruction of Iraq, only certain companies were allowed to bid for contracts, and those few were owned in part by Cheney and Bush among other top officials.

Swansan, apart from people who didn't go to work, top level officials were encourage days before not to use airliners that day. Also Bush is quoted as saying he watched the first plane crash on television, before the second plane hit. As you may remember a video of the first plane hitting didn't come out until later that day by the press. How did he watch the first plane on TV?

Lord of Armania, There are no records of terrorists purchasing 50% of airline seats, where do you get your facts. And the pentagon, while being the biggest office building in the world, the size of the damage done is small compared to the size of the aircraft.

Here's the answer.. Al Qaida is responsible for 9/11. They hit those buildings because they wanted to kill people in an American icon in order to start a holy war. They got way more then they bargained for. Plus, they were surprised the twin towers collapsed. The twin towers collapsed because the fuel burned so hot it burned up what little fireproofing there was and the heat was so intense it started to melt the metal girders of the floors and as they melted the weight of the building started overstressing the exterior and roof joints which lead to the collapse. They are not the only steel reinforced buildings in history, either. WTC 7 fell mainly because of the fires started by the flaming debris. I was told that the Pentagon, being a military compound, is "hardened" to withstand extra damage which is why it took the hit so well. Most people tend to fly in the afternoon so that's why the early flights weren't that full. The afternoon flights could have had fuller manifests but the FAA grounded all planes right after the second hit. Besides, airlines keep passenger manifests which lists the indentities of all passengers on all flights for good reason which is how they found out so quickly who they were. All they had to do was connect the dots. All the hijackers are dead.. the only ones left alive were those who helped in the planning and funding (like Bin Laden). The only conspiracy here is Al Qaida trying to start a holy war between the Arab world and the West. Al Qaida is just a fanatic fringe group trying to justify their actions via the Koran. That's wrong since the Koran does not give them justification nor reason. 99% of the Arab world does not wish a war with us but rather would like to live in peace. Saying that Al Qaida and terrorist groups are like all Arabs is the same as saying that all Americans are members of the KKK. This was written by a white Christian American who has both Muslim and Arab friends I would trust with my life.

Seeing how these questions have been asked a hundred time, and with facts, and not with some 22 year olds fantasy....I will stay away from most of them.....First, none of the hijackers that participated in the act are a live...they are dead.....wo of the flights were 75% full....they did leave in the early morning.....not all want to get up at five to get ready and go somewhere......and the rest of the flights that day were not 90% full.....there were no flights for 3 days after.......and lastly.....if this is all BS....then where are the passengers, and the planes? Why is it that the liberals of this land work so hard on discrefiting the administrqation...and not about the fact we were attacked? Oh yeah, one more thing....the building were built 30 years ago.....727 were the main aircraft.....they were built for an errant strike from them.....Get a life

You start with bad ideas and facts and just make it worse! Did you set out to look stupid?

No one profitted from 9/11. It forced up oil prices through scarcity. No single person, company or organisation was involved. It is called a world market. IT probably hurt the US and it's oil companies hardest.

Only one person went to trial cause the pilots and their assistants were all dead!!!! Any other persons responsible are terrorists at large.

WTC 7 - recordings suggest the passengers rebelled and forced their way into the cockpit. (You know those little yellow boxes that record noises and voices in the cockpit.).

The planes used were full of fuel and it was not the impact that brought the buildings down but the heat from the fire!!!

747 are made of aluminum and light weight materials that burn to nothing. Even the engines would burn up completely in the centre of a hot fire and remeber the planes were deliberately chosen to be full of fuel!!!

It only left a small hole because it looked small against the size of the wall. Just a matter of perspective.

Passenger capacity varies. But I suspect that as these were regular flights that if you checked the same flights over several weeks they would probably have around the same capacity in use.

The FBI knew the identity of the highjackers because they were identified along with all the other passengers on the many video cameras in the airports. Genuine passengers were easy to identify by next of kin at the airport or phoning in.

None of the hijackers survived they all died on the planes dummy!

This realy is a terrible stab at a conspiracy theory. Worse it defames the thousands of people who were killed that day.

This is easily answered just through observation and deduction. The people responsible have bragged about it, or was that Jim Henson's muppet voices, and OBL is actually an actor and scheduled to appear on The OC?

Have you ever been to Ground Zero? Go there on 9/11 some time. You'll see thousands of people, of all races, in tears. Big tough biker guys sobbin away next to little old Asian women.

You will also see how all the damage occurred to the surrounding buildings. The tallest structures in the US pancaked and caused a tremendous shock-wave. I am surprised they stood as long as they did. Remember that two giant fuel laden aircraft hit them at 500+ mph.

The US was sucker-punched that morning by crazed men willing to kill civilian women and children to make a statement. These people wish to kill all Americans, which you seem to be one too. Thus, you are also on the hit list.

Our military was taken by surprise. Attacks on US soil haven't happened since what, 1941? Chency ordered fighter planes up. That wasn't protocol, but in a crisis, he has the sense to not wait for the bureaucracy. I'm glad someone does.

Most of our pilots lauched unarmed. The only weapon they had was the plane itself. They were ordered to bring down attacking aircraft. The pilots didn't protest. I believe they would have followed orders.

As for Bush himself, he is all too human. He was also a fighter pilot. They are screened and tested in a way few people ever encounter. He does not possess the psychiatric condition to participate in such an atrocity. He was on-site the next day I believe. He made a remarkable speech under the circumstances.

After being at Ground Zero, I don't know how Bush maintained his composure there. I was there on an anniversary, and I was so enraged that it is difficult to describe. For all his weaknesses, he is also quite remarkable.

Do you really think that he could be motivated by money? A truly honorable person will not betray their country for any amount of money.

This will probably only further your questions but I found a video on Google Videos called Loose Change 2nd Edition that actually made me wonder the same question; who is responsible for 911. Perhaps the most apparent evidence is the multiple explosions caught on camera on the lower levels of the WTC (not directly affected by the impact of the first plane.) I sent a similar question to FOX News and they have not yet responded... I doubt that they will. But this is certainly a horrible thought of conspiracy. If it is true that the United States has the greatest military on earth with the most advanced technologies and intelligence services in the world as well as hypersonic antigravitational nuclear powered jets capable of reaching speeds approaching and exceeding 38,000 mph, such as the TR-3B and the TAW 50, how is it possible that 19 unskilled and ill trained individuals and a recluse living in a cave can bring it to its knees?. For those of you whom believe this is possible without system wide collusion amongst forces and entities within the United States then furthering the argument is useless with you, for your powers and ability utilizing sane inductive and deductive reasoning is demonstrably already greatly diminished. One other point seven of the alleged hijackers of that day are alive and well and living in Saudi Arabia. I could carry on for another thirty pages but I will stop here.

Ok here's just one more point for all the zombies who believed in the official report. Days after 9/11 - the NY Police Chief says they found the passport of one of the hijackers - Truly Amazing!!! They would have us believe that a paper passport jumped out of his coat, morphed through the plane, passed thru the fireball & wafted down to the city streets to be "discovered" unharmed while everything else including the black box just disappeared/disintegrated/burnt etc??!! The bombing of the USS Cole - Al Quada
Gee, I think all of those events happened under Clinton's watch- did he do anything to stop them? NO!
Perhaps if he did (besides sending two missiles into a tent in the desert)
We might not have had 9/11 because Al Quada would have already been taken care of.

Sorry, but I think some of us are a bit tired of playing the Blame Game. The fact is, it happened and alot of people were killed and alot of families lost their loved ones. And no, I don't really think it was a plot by the US government to control oil or some such foolishness. Blaming someone will not bring those people back or erase this tragedy. It's just a needless waste of time and energy. Why not forget about pointing fingers and instead, figure out ways to prevent this kind of thing from ever happening again?
