Do you import your water from the Alpine springs in Europe? Delivered by special courier service?

Either I filter and purify my tap water or I pay about 60 cents for a gallon of bottled water and about $3.00 for a gallon of gas. Also my car burns gas faster than I drink water.

Just because one thing is ridiculous (water prices) doesn't mean another is not. (gas prices) There's no limit to the amount of ridiculous things to complain about.

Also, many people don't buy bottled water. Those people do, however, but gas.

People also don't get as mad about water, I think, because there's competition. With oil, you're getting screwed over by some foreign country or multinational conglomerate of companies and individuals that call themselves OPEC.

The cost of fuel has an effect on the price of most products, bottled water included. When fuel prices rise, people have less to spend on other products, which might cause a drop in the price of some products.... a Catch 22 in some respects.

Cuz a lot of people spend more money on gas than on water. When you're thirsty, you can put off drinking water for some time and you always have tap water. But when you run out of gas, its not like the car can wait until we get to the station before it stops completely and its not like you get Gasoline out a flowing tap.

Because this is the highest price we have had to pay and I know it is going to go higher -- ugh! It's hurting most peoples finances and most of us have to use a car to get places. A gallon of bottled water here doesn't cost $3.00+ and I do not buy bottled water so I don't have any complaints about that.

You don't have to pump gallon upon gallons of water into your car in order to get around. I personally bought a Brita water system like most people and don't pay anything for purified water. It's not an option to pour gasoline out of your kitchen sink. We're stuck with having to use it, and the prices wher I am are close to $3.50 a gallon. I don't complain myself, but it is a little high these days.

exactly, gas is inflated, but it is rediculous that bottled water costs more, I guess people just have to complain and point fingers at people saying it's their fault.
