Thanks for all the answers so far!
I'm not looking for a new career (I'm a business executive) but someone just mentioned to me that drug dealers make more money than doctors and I'd rather have actual knowledge before I contradict him.
Perhaps a better question is, what does the average street dealer earn at the retail level, since those are most of the dealers.
Not everybody runs a cartel.

I'm not sure where you can find that because I would think the income would vary greatly depending on what type of drug they sell and how much they sell of it.

There is a book called Freakanomics. The author mentions something about drug dealer making less than minimum wage

Unless the Drug trade is made leagal (I hope it never does) and the Now Fellons start filing for taxes you will never get the numbers. I further more question why you would ask somthing like this? If you yourself are thinking of starting up drug dealing for your next job. THEN I HOPE YOU GET PUT AWAY FOR LIFE!

WELL UNFORTUNATELY IT UMMMMM DOES PAY I GUESS TO DEAL WELL MONEY WISE BUT ITS NOT SMART YOU RISK UR HOLE LIFE FOR IT SO I WOULDNT SUGGEST IT. SO WELL MY OLD NEIGHBOR DID ( I MOVED) AND HE MADE BANK LIKE UMMMMM PROLLY 4 THOUSAND A WEEK OR SO MAKING WHAT HIS SALES LIKE 15-16 GRAND A MONTH
