Do you really have to ask this question? It's what you DON'T know that kills you. Would you rather your neighbor told you if she saw the Candy Man outside your window? Or would you rather she left you alone to enjoy your last few moments of bliss?

ignorace is just a form of denial so on one hand it is bliss because your fooling yourself, if the situation will cause you or someone else pain, your almost immune to it however from that we must deduce that it'll also not bliss because ultimately you know in your heart of hearts and eventually it'll come back to bite you. The only thing that's bliss, is bliss itself personally speaking. The thought of no worries and being with who you wanna be with, the perfect job, kids, it sounds pretty good don't you think?

Of course, being ignorant to a issue means that you have no thoughts or concerns, therefore no worries therefore bliss, the minute you have a thought on the issue is where the trouble starts

Sometimes the lack of knowledge can
be Bliss .....
Within our culture there is known knowledge,

Within our society there is propaganda that creates
false knowledge, false values, knowledge of what
is outside ourselves and knowledge of what to be,
full knowledge would overwhelm our minds, ignorance
may act as a buffer to improve our method of our own
understandings of life, nature and purpose ....

There is ignorance of the ignorant and ignorance of
the wise, the distinctions are with relativity and scale,
the ignorance of the ignorant is relative to their not
understanding themselves, the ignorance of the wise
manifest from seeing all nature in scale and seeing we
can never know everything, because everything changes,
truth is only perception of our theories about what is ...

Or .... nOt .......

Yes. For example, if you had a disease with no symptoms (like cancer) and did not know it, then you would be happier than if a doctor told you that you would be dead in 6 months.

Another example, if you thought you were happily married and your husband didn't cheat, then you would be happier than knowing he had a girlfriend.

There are many circumstances where ignorance is bliss, but knowledge is despair.

I wouldn't know. But I can tell you that indifference can at times be truly blissful. Not apathy, mind you, but indifference.
