Why is nothing absolute and rock solid being done about it. I know American citizens contact Congress all the time and voice their opinons, but they dont listen.
Drug lords fire on our officers, but why cant we engage and destroy the enemy???
It just seems odd, if someone was firing on me, I'd make sure I dealt with the problem with return fire.

I think they are more interested in maintaining the status quo. Maybe there's some kind of revenue being generated that the public doesn't know about. Or maybe they don't want to interrupt Ted Kennedy's need for drugs and alcohol.
I wish they would do something...it's ridiculous that they can't take care of the matter. It would do the country a lot more good and send a message to those who want to engage in illegal activity.

Because politicians are afraid to lose votes over it and because only people right on the border understand the problem. Most people live in ignorance over the problem and think we would just be bullying these poor defensless drug dealing illegals.
