Hi, I am 16 years old and had unprotected sex(pull out) on june 23rd, 1 day after my period ended. My boyfriend and I have been going out for almost a year and we always use a condom, i know...big mistake :( I need to know how likely it is that I am pregnant as i've taken 5 pregnacy tests(ept, FR, and clearblue) all negative. I have a regular period, but it is shorter than most..about 22 days. 16 days after I had sex, I experienced a light bleeding for 1 day. At first I thought it was my period, but it didn't last long..and i got extremely nervous! I went online and looked up pregnancy symptoms and saw i could possibly have had implantation bleeding. I haven't experienced any symptoms that are unusual except lower back pain for a couple days. It is now the 19 of July..and this morning i took a test(negative)..i STILL do not have my period. I am going to Planned Parenthood, but I need to know my chances..and i don't want to go to my parents until I absolutely have too! Help! Thanks! :(

Well you usually only ovulate 2 days per month. I know that I ovulate like 6 days after my period but not all women are the same. I wouldn't worry because that will stop your period from coming. Also from what I understand is EPT is accurate when you have not even missed your first period. So if it came up negative then you are probably not pregnant. On the EPT commercial it says you can take the EPT test 3 days before your first missed period. But if you are not pregnant then be careful. Maybe you should think about the Pill or getting a Depo shot.

It sounds like you are not pregnant, but going to planned parenthood to make sure wouldn't hurt. It is true that you can have light periods during the first couple of months of pregnancy, but that normally doesn't happen. I went through the same thing several times, and sometimes I think that the stress that comes with the situation makes your periods weird too. I had my period twice in one month before and was very worried that I was pregnant or something. It turned out that I wasn't. You should be ok, but be more careful. Have you thought about taking birth control pills? There are some that have low amounts of estrogen, such as one called "Yasmin." If you take the pills correctly you won't have to worry about this kind of thing anymore. You are too young to be stressed over possibly being pregnant. You should ask Planned Parent. about the pills or what your different options are. Good luck in the furture :-)

It might have been possible for it to be implantation bleeding. And even if you do start still becareful, you can still be pregnant. My roommate had hers for three months before she stopped and that's when she found out. She also took pregnancy tests when she was two months pregnant and they were still negative. The only way she found out her true due date was after she was 30 weeks and they realized the development of the baby. Also, I woldn't trust planned parenthoods pee test. I went up there for one and it was negative, but I was still worried about my period so I went to the doctor and he did blood test on me and found out I was pregnant. He also told me that, you are more likely to get a false negative than a false positive. You will have to relax, cause either way worrying is not going to help you or if you're pregnant, the baby. I know I've been there. If you are the test may not be picking up on it because your hormone count isn't high enough. It does happen. So take a breather and relax, at this point there isn't anything you can do about it, so just calm down.

Calm down, take a deep breath. Everything will be okay.

Going to Planned Parenthood is a wise choice. A medical professional can help you with this issue and perhaps negate your worries.

I would say if you are testing negative on several pregnancy tests, than you are most likely not pregnant. Sometimes after a traumatic experience to the vagina (1st time having sex, 1st time havign sex without a condom), you spot bleed. And then your period comes late. It's no biggie, just sometimes your vagina is like "what happened? woah!" and freaks out for a little bit, then it goes back to normal.

Planned Parenthood is just going to give you a urine test just like you took at home. You should have gone and gotten Plan B. That would have prevented the pregnancy. Now it's too late for that. I'd be willing to bet that if you took 5 tests that said negative, you're probably not pregnant. You're just not getting your period because you're stressing yourself out. I pray that you're not pregnant, 16 is way too young to have a baby. You should go on the pill if you and your boyfriend are having sex all the time.

ok, one question...what made you guys want to have unprotected sex this one time or was it one of those accidents that just happen??? I am currently 19 weeks pregnant almost 20 and I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was already 6 weeks into the pregnancy course I didn't have hardly any symptoms but the usual PMS symptoms you get when your period is about to come but mine didn't so, I called the dr. and the test was barely positive I tested a week later and it came darker so, I left it at that and now I'm about to find out if we are having a boy or girl. But, with you I would wait about a week to two weeks after you should expect to have your period then test again but, in the meantime don't stress over it, I agree stress can raise havic on your body it can cause anything from pimples to missed periods to weight gain to loss weight to even major illnesses, just chill go swimming, go shopping, go to a movie don't have anymore sex until after your period comes again and next time use a condom it doesn't matter how hott and sexy you get it doesn't disappear the next day...I wouldn't go to planned parenthood one they charge you about 50 bucks for the office visit then another 20 bucks for a freakin' pee stick-the same kind you can get at walmart for 3 dollars, but it's up to you...wait two weeks after the day you are supossed to start then test if neg. and no period then go to the doctor, if pos. go to the doctor, if pos. then your period comes go to the doctor, if neg. and your period comes then no worries just lessons learned...good luck!

You are probably not pregnant. Hope that makes you feel better. Next time use a condom, and if it doesn't work go to planned parenthood and get the morning after pill. Better safe than sorry.

- It takes a couple of weeks for the pregancy hormone to show up in your urine, so stop wasting your money on the test, try to relax, wait a week then take another. Good Luck

well........getting yourself worked up can cause a delay in your period. stress play a big factor when a period is late. if you have taken that many p.test and they all come out negative, then you probably are negative. The pulling out technique does not work. that is how i got pregnant at 20 with my daughter. always use protection. if you and your boyfriend are having sex on the regular basis, you might consider birth control pills. planned parenthood will give them to you for no charge and your parent will never have to know. i been through everything you are going through now. birth contol pill have very little side effects, i have been on them for over 10 years

Well the good thing is that your chances could be low since you did it the day after your period but the bad thing is your 16!

This is why you teenagers always get lectured! You don't like getting lectured and being told what to do but then you to something stupid like this.. I'm not saying adults don't do stupid things too but at least an adult usually can take care of his/herself because they are not dependent on someone. Can you pay all the bills and support a child too?

Remember if you like to play be prepared to pay!! If you want to be an adult at 16, better act like a responsbile one.

Good luck and finish school and college, get a job and then worry about if you have a bun in the oven...

I'd say to get a test from a doctor. Pulling out is one of the worst forms of Birth Control, due to Pre-Ejaculate. But, there is no way for anyone to know if you're pregnant. So get a test from a Doctor. Then you'll know one way or another.
Good Luck. And make sure your man wraps it up in the future. Babies aren't the only thing unprotected sex can get you. STDs are pretty easy to get without knowing it.
