did the doctor say that the shot messed you up...or does it just seem like it did? You could be missing your ovulation date....have you tried using a ovulation monitor or predictor kit? I would try those if you havent before spending all the money on a fertility specialist...I would also make a apointment you your GYN and see what are all of your options

My husband and I are also TTC. I have been taking Clomid for 6 months, with no luck so far. Clomid works with your body's hormones to help induce ovulation. I think it also kinda boosts your hormone levels because I am always VERY moody and emotional when I'm taking the Clomid. I start my Clomid on day 3 of my period and take 1 dose a day for 5 days, then about a week after the last dose, we start having IC every other day for about 2 weeks. Just tell your OB/GYN that you would like some information about it and that you are strongly considering taking it. My normal OB/GYN gave me Clomid for the first 3 months, then when it didn't work, he sent me to a fertility specialist to discuss other options, and we are trying the Clomid one more time before moving on to other options. So far, we haven't had to do too much testing, mostly just some blood work. Good Luck

I just went to try and get on clomid, and you have alot of test to go through. Blood work not to metion your husband has to you know in a cup and get tested. Its hard enough on your body, with the stress of TTC . Best thing I can say is Dont try to make a baby; just make love. anytime, anyplace. your only 20,women can get pregant into their 50's. I was on the depo for 2 years after my oldest was born and i got pregnant 3 years after getting off it. and I wasn't even trying . So dont try just do it. But if you want to try something like clmid, but not go through all the tests try VITEX it sold at any natural food store, or herb store.

You can only get on Clomid by seeing a doctor and you should be monitored to make sure it is working. If you had a miscarriage and still can't get pregnant then I would see a infertility specialist. I have had two miscarriages in the last year & I'm having to see a infertility specialist cause there is something wrong.

I hear you. I want to have a baby, but without all the costly tests & experiments. I think your doctor is the best person to advice you on what to do.

FYI - Just heard about something that may be helpful in getting pregnant. It's called instead softcups. Here's the website for more info www.softcups.com. By what I read it's for your menstrual cycle but can help while TTC. What happens is after intercourse some sperm stays in you while the rest doesn't. Instead softcups gets inserted right after intercourse. By doing so the softcup traps all the sperm so that it stays in you therefore you have a better chance of getting pregnant. Someone mentioned this & said it helped her. She was pregnant 1 month after using it. It's worth a try.

Good Luck! :)
