Shops and cafe's....

Orange formica countertops, naugahyde banquettes in shades of pea green, avocado, brown, burnt oranges.

Wood panelled walls. Sunburst clocks, light fixtures were collages of small globes with chrome spikes.

Also, Chrome and glass tables, wicker chairs, bean bag chairs.

Think, Burnt oranges, puky yellows, avocado, chartrueuse, browns.

Geometric shapes like diamonds on wall paper, also metallic wall paper with burnout crushed velvet.

Go google search or watch The Brady Bunch...

We bought a house built in 1976. The kitchen had bright orange countertops, walnut cupboards with mediterranean style fixtures. The flooring was a cream & gold continuous design - not too bad. The openings from the kitchen to hallway & dining room had red velvet covered saloon doors to pass through. We gutted the kitchen, hm-hmm.
