It's a very long story how I met my husband but I'll try to shorten it as much as possible. ...I was working as a housekeeper for a famous actor in Hollywood. He had a friend who was starting a psychic tv show so I went as one of her guest. She told me I was going to meet, fall in love and married a Canadian warrior and have four children. Canadian warrior, right? I didn't know any Canadians.At the time I was writing penpals through the Recycler newspaper which had a penpal section in back where you can send letters all over the world. I wrote an ad for the Canadian sister newspaper of the Recycler and it was printed in cananda. For weeks I hadn't heard anything from my ad. Then suddenly I got a phone call from a Canadian man who was a Deep Sea Diver in the Canadian Navy. The reason I didn't get any calls form my ad was because it was posted in the wrong section. My now husband was looking for a part for his boat and found my ad in the boat session. Curiously he phoned and we began talking and finding lots of stuff in common. He was on Victoria Island then where he lived but was deployed to Ontario for six months. We wrote letters and talked on the phone. After his tour in Ontario he returned to Victoria Island which is above California opposite Washington State. It was May "93. I went up to meet him for the first time. We met in Seattle, Washington.We drove to Canada and took the ferry to the island for the weekend. It was lust at first sight. During the weekend we feel in love. June 19th is his birthday. June 20th is mine. He came down to California to celebrate our birthdays. Four days we were together totally. Two in Canada. Two in California. In August he decided he couldn't stand to be apart so he quit the Navy and moved to California. On our third date we went to Las Vegas and got married. He joined the American Army and is now a Sargeant. It's been 13 years, four children and he's still my Canadian(American) warrior. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

We met 6 years ago at a restaurant we both worked at it. But we got into a silly argument when we first met and didn't talk to each for a while. We've been together for 5 years and 3 months now, and we've been married for 1 1/2 months.

I met my guy online, in a chat room. We were both married and were just friends for almost 5 years. Things changed in both our lives and we started seeing each other differently. We've been together a year and life just gets better with each passing day.

He went to the same high school as my little sister (I lived with my g-parents)...I was visiting one weekend, and stopped at a gas station across from the school, and he happened to be there on his way to football practice. I thought he was really hot, so my sister introduced us. We didn't actually get together untill 5 years later (when one of us was single, the other was not)...we lost track of each other and we both ended up marrying other people and divorcing, and finally got together (by chance...I had my car packed down and was about to move out of the state, and he just happened to THINK he saw me through the window where I worked, so he stopped to see)....been married 6 years. What's funny is my 1st husbands name was the same as his, and his 1st wife's name was the same as mine.

Met in high school, his senior year, my junior. Dated for a couple months, then broke up when he went to Navy boot camp. A year passed by w/o any contact. He gets invited to my senior reception, and we automatically attract to each other. We've been together for 2 yrs 2 months....been engaged for 1 yr 1 months of that, and getting married in 2 weeks and 2 days.

We met through some mutual friends at a graduation party. He lived in Memphis TN and I lived in Paducah KY. (3 hours apart.) That was 3 years ago in May. This October will be our 3 year wedding anniversary, and we are happier and happier every day that passes by.

I actually met my mate at a small town carnival. He was running a game. I know what you all are thinking...carnie!!?!?!?!?! I couldn't help myself....there was just something about him. We were together for that week and then 2 months later he came back and we've been together ever since. (1 1/2 years) Love him to death and wouldn't trade him for the world!!!!

I was a cashier at a grocrey store and he used to come in every morning on his way to work and he slipped me a note one day.Didnt know who he was really i asked him if i knew him he said no but you will.I had a boyfriend at the time but we became very good friends.We ended up dating now we have been married 6 years with 2 kids

I met my husband first in the 5th grade, we were "boyfriend, girlfriend" for a week, then he moved away & 2 years ago my old car needed to be fixed & he just happened to be the mechanic that fixed it, not only did he fix it for cheap, but I also go a new car & an amazing husband/best friend out of all of it.
