You can use simple editing programs that automatically generate the page for you. If you want to get real fancy with your page you could learn CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and customize your site just to your liking.

if u go to www.pimpmyspace.com u can find lotsof backgrounds and u need to highlight the code and paste into your about me section in your profile then click save changes and it should appear.

or you can go to http://www.strikefile.com and set up your own. It's alot more personal when you do it yourself.
