You can use simple editing programs that automatically generate the page for you. If you want to get real fancy with your page you could learn CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and customize your site just to your liking.
http://myspace.com/jhackamack is an example i've found of some custom CSS work.

umm go to google and type in html codes for myspace and click a good 1

if u go to www.pimpmyspace.com u can find lotsof backgrounds and u need to highlight the code and paste into your about me section in your profile then click save changes and it should appear.

There are alot of places that have preset stuff.
or you can go to http://www.strikefile.com and set up your own. It's alot more personal when you do it yourself.
