Last month, I was late on my period by four days. I didn't have a short period, but this month I was late again. And this time it didn't last but a couple of days. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby, and last month I got really excited when I was late, but when my period came, I was crushed. I tried not to think to much about it or stress over it and I was doing really goodwith it until I realized I was late again. I've been moody and sleeping all the time and it's getting to my husband, because he leaves for work early in the morning, and when he comes hime for lunch I'm still asleep. We go to bed at an early enough time for me to be up alot earlier but when I do wake up early I have a head ache and feel like I haven't gotten enough sleep. When I go to have a cigarette, by the time I'm done wih it I'm so neauses, I just want to pull over and go. I don't want to give myself false hopes, so I try not to think about it, but I really would like to know why?

PLEASE stop smoking, it is not healthy for you and certainly not for a baby. It can actually inhibit you from getting pregnant and can cause many miscarriages.

Did you just get off the pill or other form of birth control? If so, it is probably a factor as well. Your body can go through a number of changes working the pill out of your system. Just be patient and have fun with it. Making a baby is nothing to stress over. I would keep trying for another couple of months, and then if you're still not having any luck make an appointment with your Doctor. She/He will be able to give you valuable advice on trying to concieve, and also check to make sure that everything is in working order for you to carry a child.

Good luck

1. If you want to have a baby, stop smoking RIGHT NOW.
2. It can take a while to get pregnant. Just keep having sex and wait. You cannot stress about it because that throws off your cycles.
3. Get your *** back out there doing something. It will make you feel better and give you something to do instead of just waiting to get pregnant. Women stress out about this wayyyy too much. Just give it time. If it doesn't happen in a year or so, talk to your doctor.

Were you on birth control? That could mess up your cycle. If not have you taken a HPT? TAke one. That would be your first steps. Plus as said before...smoking is not healthy for you or the baby...so stop!!! Don't stress out find something to do during the day so your not a home tempted to lay down. Come home when your hubby is expected for lunch and then find something else to do until later.

Stop stressing yourself out. Being pregnant can make you tired and give you headaches but so can stress. Stop counting the days till your period. If you're more than a week late, then I would take a test but anything before that I wouldn't.
