It's in the preferences.

Click on the boards link on the sidebar, and then click on the chat preferences link on the top of the page. The first thing that you should see on that page is the change avatar option.

I dont know the answer but ill tell u what you can do...
Trade that game in, buy some other cool game (preferrably mario) and ask a question about that.
