and eating a ton, would not having as much patience as you normally do be considered 'mood swings'? I dont feel like I'm having mood swings though, but I'm noticing I am getting aggravated more easily than normal.

All pregnancies are different. Some women have symptoms, some women don't. I'm 36 weeks and never had morning sickness, nor constipation, just two of the common symptoms, but mood swings, heartburn, eating a lot YES! I had them all.

Everyone is different when it comes to being pregnant.
Yes I would consider being a little more sensitive and more easily irritated a normal symptom. Especially if you are not very far along.
Mood swings also vary with people. If you are normally an easy going person, then your "mood swings" won't be as "dramatic" as stereotyped.

Yes, it is considered a mood swing. You are tired, fatique and therefore getting aggravated easily. Nothing to worry about. Let them deal with your aggravation, after you have the baby - it will go away. You will be aggravated with other things.

you usually don't notice the mood swings those around you do. Ask them if they say you are having them then yep your having mood swings. mood swings are chewing someone out for really no reason. Being happy one minute then crying the next. Later on in pregnancy you will have them and notice them. Wait till you become really uncomfortable.

Getting annoyed more easily can be categorized as mood swings. If you know for sure you are pregnant, you might not have the same symptoms as "the normal" pregnant woman might have.

Um, those are the common symptoms... a 'mood swing' is often being agitated or upset easily.

what about missing your period? take a home pregnancy test! that's the quickest and surest way to know. Test, then test again if necessary in a few weeks.

Yep...totally normal. Whatever you call it...mood swings or whatever...getting easily aggitated is totally a pregnancy symptom. It happened to me (my poor husband couldn't do anything right).
