No, not alot of freespace at all.
You can free up quite a bit of space by changing your RECYCLE BIN's default settings.
Just RIGHT CLICK on the RECYCLE BIN then click on PROPERTIES and set to 1% instead of the default 10%.
For example, if you have a 200 GB drive it will free up about 18 GB of drive space!
Also, hard drives are relatively cheap these days. For example, Best Buy's ad this week has a Seagate 120GB hard drive for only $49... no rebates to fool with........

Yes. It can allot free space even with a 4 G.b hard disk. Simply prepare a bootble floppy of win 98 on any computer . connect yor hard disk. Start computer after insrting the bootable floppy.. after the A:\ (you type) fdisk . It shows 3 options . Select the 1 option . then decide the space for 1 for 10% remainig space you create for exteneded dos partition only. from extended dos partition you can make any number of logical drives, Pl. note that DOS PARTITION should make active. Then create total space extended dos partition only. and then create any number of logical drives you want ex. e,f, g, so on....in dos extended partition only.

no, thats not very much space. The smallest hard drive they sell now is probably 100gb. Run a disk-cleanup by going to startmenu->Programs->Accessories->System tools. De-fragment your hard drive will also help some.

10 GB HDD is not very much. Just buy a new one, you could probably get away with a 40 GB hard drive, if not bigger.

Not really on the firstquestion, and it depends on what you're putting on it for the second question.
