My sister & her husband have separated to give her time to think. He wasn't there for her much. It's been 2 1/2 months and I guess she told him a month ago she wanted to try to work things out. He said he needed more time. In the mean time she found out he started dating someone during their separation. He said it was only one date. She is devistated. Can this marriage be saved?

She is so private and wont give her family any details. I know it's not our business but we are worried. We want what is best for her. This is so hard...

no, he stepped out on the marriage and it never works out when you "give me time" it never works, if you want time go out for a walk and come back and talk thigns thru. why do you need months, or weeks.it only takes a few days.too much time has passed and it wont workout, he found someone that doesnt need time, he found someone new. he doesnt need her.i think she should just move on, i mean i know they were seperated but man he could have at least did it the right way

He does not need more time if he loved her he would miss her and would not be dating someone else sounds like he does not want to work anything out. He not taking time to think about his relationship with her he's taking time to be with other women very sad best of luck with your sister..

If he needs more time, it's obvious he's dating someone else and not ready to give them up. It would be best for her to move on.

I think the hubby is ready to be free. He is just holding on to her until he finds out what happens with this new chick. As soon as they stop dating, he will want to work things out.

They will do whatever needs to be done to satisfy both sides.
Be there if she needs you.
