Ripper is a Trojan Horse attack that allows an attacker to steal passwords from a remote computer communicating
over TCP port 2023.

looks like your security is working. you dont want this nasty coming through.

Was the message generated by the Virus programme on your PC ? If so then use it to deal with the problem

If the message came from the internet and it says click here to download a fix, then ignore it. Close your web explorer and run a virus scan

If you had a warning about it it means that your anti-virus software stopped it, and you should be ok. but to be safe, do run a Defination files update, and do a full scan.

I recommend a defination update daily (or set it to auto check, and update without informing) and running a virus scan once ever week or 2.

If you got the warning then your system saw it and stopped it... that's good. I use Norton, but there are many others, get some anti virus and spyware software installed and keep it running.... If you use limewire or another "share" site you will get these attacks often...

I went on a naked lady web site once and got one of these. You need to delete the file asap. Do you have anti virus software you could use?

Your computer will not normally give you a warning about any malware on your computer. You have been infected with a adware that is giving you that warning to try to get you to purchase the phony solution. Ignore it and clean up your computer.....it is badly infected.
